Parenting Coaching

Raising children in today’s world can be a challenge. Many of us paint a picture of our lives and our children that is bigger than the truth. We strive to live in the picture of what we think life should be instead of what it is. This can cause constant struggle within the family. We are all influenced by so many different things it can be difficult to maintain a balance.

Life Strategies offers a variety of parenting workshops and family coaching to give you the tools you need to have a happy, peaceful life at home. We work with you to cultivate the voice of your child so they learn integrity and the ability to make the right choices in life.

Some areas of parenting where we offer coaching include:

  • Raising children with integrity
  • Positive discipline
  • Adolescent challenges
  • Handling change
  • Sibling rivalry
  • Adjusting to a new baby

Raising Grateful Children

Gratitude in children cannot be attained by any one technique. What parents need to look at is if they themselves model humility and gratefulness. When we get everything we want we begin to expect and soon gratitude turns to entitlement. If we model that we work hard, we wait with restraint, and we value what we have, we intsill in the family culture a sense of gratefulness for who we are and what e have. That cultural emotional experience contributes to the voicce inside each of us that allows for gratefulness.
