In so much of our experience today, we seem to be more in love with the "future" than we are the present...the moment we are actually in.

I was watching one of "our" shows the other night, "Shark Tank".

One of the Sharks was challenging the valuation a hopeful guest had on the worth of their up and coming business.

The hopeful contestant valued the business based on the future sales rather than the current revenues.

The contestant refused to lower their valuation based on the future promises from some big companies.
